
Patrick was born in Dublin, Ireland but moved to St.Catharines, Canada in 1969. Since adulthood he has lived and worked in Hamilton and then Brantford, Ontario. In 2018 he and his wife Peggy retired and moved to Owen Sound. Their blended family of 4 children and 2 granddaughters are close to visit.
Upon arriving in Canada, Patrick started playing the drums at the age of 13 years and joined his first band at 14. Playing regularly is still his deepest passion.
While with the Dubay Band they released a number of CD's of original music with videos as well as opening for April Wine. They also shared the stage with Power House, Hotel California and Mellisa Bell.
Patricks drum influences include Ian Paice, John Bonham, Mitch Mitchell, Neil Peart. and many others. His musical influences include the British Invasion, Deep Purple, Led Zepplin and Black Sabeth.
Patrick enjoys playing progressive rock whether originals or covers from Gennesses, Styx and Yes as well as Classic Rock, Blues and Funk.
